From 4th July acupuncturists were given permission to return to full practice following Covid Secure guidelines.
I am actively involved in monitoring guidance for acupuncturists as part of my role as administrator at the Association of Community & Multibed Acupuncture Clinics, so you can rest assured I'm well informed of the necessary safety measures.
WHERE, WHEN & HOW
I'm happy to be offering one-to-one treatments at Needlecraft - a beautiful little tattoo studio near Worthing station.
I hope to reopen the community clinic at Salt Water Studios in September once timetabling and scheduling is all in place.
Both spaces are well ventilated, spacious and kept exceptionally clean and safe.
The following measures are in place for one-to-one treatments;
COVID-19 screening - I will send you an online form to be completed within 24 hours of the treatment.
Mandatory masks for all clients and myself. You are welcome to bring your own or I'll have a disposable one for you at the door.
Hand sanitiser provided on arrival and departure.
Extra time between clients to allow for additional cleaning procedures and ventilation.
We will sit 2m apart while we talk, we'll only be within 2m distance of each other for a matter of minutes for needle placement and removal. I'll sit at the other end of the studio whilst you relax for the treatment.
No waiting area, please arrive at your agreed time.
No food or drink in the clinic, but please do bring your own bottle of water.
Toilet facilities are available on site, but please go before you arrive wherever possible to minimise use.
I won't be providing blankets for the time being, please feel free to bring your own.
Cashless payment available via bank transfer.
I am keeping up to date with advice from Government, my regulating body - the British Acupuncture Council and local authority guidelines, so this may all be subject to change.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions or requests, your safety and comfort are paramount.
Thank you, and hope to see you soon!
